In the summer of 2012, my best friend and I decided to leave the youth ministry that we not only served at for the previous 8 years, but also had attended the 2 years preceeding as students, to start our own much-needed youth ministry at our home church.  We decided to name it The Lantern, which of course called for a new identity system, complete brand design, fresh marketing and promo materials, etc. The project was obviously a fun one having no restrictions from client parameters but getting to do things our way. First I created our logo/identity system. Then, the two main pieces created to kick off the promoting were the unique folding pocket brochure and the thick-stock matte-coated promo cards, followed by a new meeting room, banners, wristbands, and more.
